Always Your Dad
Hey Mouse, hey Mush, I hope you know, No matter where these wild roads go, There’s a piece of home that stays with you, In every laugh and every tune. You’ve got your own way, your own spark
Verse 1
Hey Mouse, hey Mush, I hope you know,
No matter where these wild roads go,
There’s a piece of home that stays with you,
In every laugh and every tune.
You’ve got your own way, your own spark,
A rebel grin and a giant heart.
And even when the miles get bad,
Nothing changes this—
Chorus
I’m always your dad.
Wherever you go, wherever you land,
You’ve always got me in your corner, man.
Through every turn, through every plan,
I’m always your dad.
No moving truck, no long goodbye,
Can cut the cord or change the sky.
You’re my son, and that’s ironclad—
I’m always your dad.
Verse 2
I know life moves and people change,
New towns, new rooms, new windowpanes.
But love like ours doesn’t lose its name,
It burns the same, it burns the same.
We’ll find our rhythm, we’ll find our way,
Calls and visits and better days.
And when you wonder where I’m at,
Just remember that—
Chorus
I’m always your dad.
Wherever you go, wherever you land,
You’ve always got me in your corner, man.
Through every turn, through every plan,
I’m always your dad.
No moving truck, no long goodbye,
Can cut the cord or change the sky.
You’re my son, and that’s ironclad—
I’m always your dad.
Bridge
Mouse, you’re my chaos, my joke, my pride,
Mush, you’re my heartbeat amplified.
And I don’t need the perfect words to say,
I love you more than yesterday.
So turn it up when the world feels strange,
Some things bend but they never change.
You and me, we’ve still got that—
You’re my son, I’m your dad.
Final Chorus
I’m always your dad.
Wherever you go, wherever you land,
You’ve always got me in your corner, man.
Through every turn, through every plan,
I’m always your dad.
No distance wins, no years erase,
No map can move you from your place.
You’re my son, and that’s ironclad—
I’m always your dad.
Outro
Hey Mouse, hey Mush, just play this loud,
When you need a voice above the crowd.
Wherever you are, wherever I am,
You’re always my son.
I’m always your dad.
